2 & 3 Overnight Itinerary

DAY 1: Afternoon and evening departure from various pick-up points.

DAY 2: Early morning Channel Crossing and an opportunity for an English breakfast on board (not incl). Departing the White Cliffs of Dover, we pass Dover Castle and continue on through the beautiful countryside of Kent, known as the "Garden of England". Upon arrival in London, you may elect to visit the Tower of London (entry £17) where you'll see "Traitor's Gate", the "Bloody Tower", scene of tortures & executions and, of course, the Crown Jewels, guarded by the Beefeaters in the picturesque Tudor uniforms. The rest of the day is at leisure to discover more of London for yourself. We then check in to our First Class Hotel. For those still willing, your tour guide can suggest some popular pubs to close out the night.

DAY 3: We begin the day with our Grand City Tour with our local guide. Among the sights featured will be Trafalgar Square with Nelson's Column, Piccadilly Circus, the Houses of Parliament, St. Paul's Cathedral and the Changing of the Guards (when available). After lunch (not incl), join us on an optional excursion with Local Guide (€40, all entries included; minimum participation required) to the beautiful town of Windsor with its Royal Castle - the Queen resides here most weekends. Returning to London in the late afternoon, the night is still young and London has much to offer! Your tourguide can arrange for a traditional English Dinner (approx £19) and possibly a theatre performance (extra).

DAY 4 - 3 Overnights ONLY: Spend the day shopping, sightseeing or visiting one of the many museums and art galleries. A full-day optional excursion (€50, minimum participation required) is offered to Stonehenge, whose mammoth boulders remind us of the shrine, calendar and timepiece of thousands of years ago. We continue on to Salisbury, site of one of England's most magnificent cathedrals. Begun in 1220, it has the tallest spire in England, is home to an extraordinary copy of the Magna Carta and houses the oldest working clock in Europe. The city centre remains much as it was in medieval times, laid out in gridiron fashion with a large number of timber-framed houses. We return to London in the early evening.

LAST DAY - 2 and 3 Overnights: After breakfast we begin our return trip to Germany. Enroute, we'll take a brief orientation tour (time permitting) of Canterbury. Pointing out some of the major attractions the 12th Century Cathedral where Thomas Beckett was murdered in 1170 and where the Black Prince is buried. We then continue on to our return Channel Crossing and trip to Germany with a dinner stop enroute, arriving at points of origin late at night - On 3 Overnight tour arriving early morning of Day 6 (Wednesday on regular dates & Tuesday on American Holidays).

CHILDREN: 3-12 years of age receive a $20. discount on 2 overnight tour and a $30 discount on 3 overnight tour. Under 3, require a bus seat and their own safety seat (not provided), pay $160 on 2 Overnight Tour and $200 on 3 Overnight Tour. Children 12 & under travel free on optional tours except for entrance fees.

DOCUMENTS: Valid US Tourist Passport only, for military & civilian personnel.

It is the responsibility of NON US CITIZENS to meet proper VISA requirements for ALL countries.

CANCELLATION FEES (Per Person): More than 14 days prior to departure, $80.; within 14-7 days prior, $160.; 7 days or less, 50% of tour price will be charged.
