1 & 2 Overnight Itinerary

DAY 1: Evening departure from various pick-up points.

DAY 2: Following a morning arrival in Holland and an opportunity for breakfast (not incl), we'll go directly to the Keukenhof Tulip Park to observe the "Greatest Flower Show on Earth"! The world famous 80- acre park features millions of bulb flowers - a paradise for nature lovers and camera buffs. After touring the area, we witness how Dutch cheese is made at an authentic Cheese Farm before visiting the Ratterman Wooden Shoe Factory, where you may purchase hand-crafted shoes at excellent prices. We continue on to Amsterdam, one of Europe's most popular capitals, for an orientation tour highlighting some of the major sights. You may then opt to take a boat ride on Amsterdam's Canals - to include the harbor, one of Europe's largest (€9). Next we stop at the Gassan Diamond Factory before continuing on to Dam Square, the very heart of Amsterdam. After lunch (not incl), the afternoon is free for your own activities - your tourguide can provide suggestions for additional sightseeing.Before we check into our hotel, take the opportunity to experience a Chinese-Indonesian Rijstable Dinner (€18).

DAY 3 - 2 Overnight Tour Only: After a hearty breakfast, we depart for an optional excursion (€25), offering a variety of highlights. We begin with the restored Windmill Village of Zaanse Schans where you'll see working windmills, various shops and restaurants where you may try the delicious Dutch Pancakes. We then visit an authentic Cheese Farm and witness a demonstration on how Dutch Cheese is made. Last, but not least, we visit the quaint fishing village of Volendam and its colorful houses amidst the canals. The day is completed with a typical Dutch Fish Dinner (€18) prior to returning to the hotel.

LAST DAY - BOTH 1 & 2 Overnight Tour: After breakfast and check-out, we depart for The Hague, the seat of the Dutch Government and residence of the Dutch Queen; and also featuring the Binnenhof (Houses of Parliament) and the Peace Palace (Home of the International Court). Our next stop is the Miniature City of Madurodam (€10 entry fee). Young and old will delight in this scaled down version of major Holland attractions. Via the famous beach resort of Scheveningen, we journey to Delft, the "City of Porcelain" where you may purchase Royal Delft Blue Porcelain at factory prices. After a dinner stop along the way (not incl), we arrive at our points of origin late at night.

CHILDREN:
3-12 years of age receive a $10 discount on 1 Overnight Tour and a $20 discount on 2 Overnight Tour. Under 3, require a bus seat and their own safety seat (not provided) pay $129 on 1 Overnight Tour and $ 159 on 2 Overnight Tour. Children 12 & under travel free on Optional Tours except for boat rides and entrance fees.

DOCUMENTS: Valid US tourist passport for military & civilian personnel. Military without tourist passport should check with their Personnel Office or the Foreign Clearance Guide for information on current travel regulations to the Netherlands. It is the responsibility of NON US CITIZENS to meet proper VISA requirements for ALL countries.

CANCELLATION FEES (Per Person):
More than 14 days prior to departure, $80; 14-7 days prior, $100; less than 7 days, 50% of tour price will be charged.
