1 Overnight Itinerary

DAY 1: Evening/early morning departure from various pick-up points.

DAY 2: After crossing the border in to the province of Lorraine, we arrive early in Paris and enjoy a Breakfast Buffet (included). We then begin our comprehensive City Tour which will familiarize you with famous and historical sights, such as the vast and elegant Place de la Concorde, the unforgettable Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, the miniature "Statue of Liberty", Trocadéro Square with the Palais de Chaillot, the Hôtel des Invalides, the Musée de l'Armée, one of the world's richest army museums, the French Military Academy, the presidential Palais de l'Elysée on the fashionable rue du Faubourg St-Honoré, the Opera House, the beautiful Notre-Dame Cathedral, Place Vendôme and the Ritz Hotel, Eiffel Tower and various other sights as we traverse this enormous, bustling capital city. After Lunch (not incl.) and some free time for shopping we visit the Fragonard Perfume Museum, before our Boat Cruise on the Seine River. We begin the evening with a multi-course dinner, at a typical French restaurant followed by a Scenic ride through Paris with complimentary Champagne before checking in to our hotel.

DAY 3: Following breakfast, we spend the morning visiting 2 of the most famous sights in Paris - the Palace of Versailles and the Louvre Museum. Versailles, the residence of the Kings of France until 1789, is considered Louis XIV's greatest creation and is a world unto itself - with the Galerie des Glaces (Hall of Mirrors) in the Grands Royal Apartments being the largest and most magnificent of the rooms and the immense Water Gardens - the largest palace gardens in Europe with hundreds of statues and fountains. With the Great Louvre Restoration Project completed in 1996, the Louvre, now entered through Ieoh Ming Pei's controversial glass pyramid, is said to be the world's largest museum with more than 400,000 art objects, including the Mona Lisa, Winged Victory, the Venus de Milo and more. Take your last minute photos as it's then time to begin the return trip to Germany, first stopping-off at the locations picked up enroute prior to arriving at remaining points of origin late at night!

CHILDREN: 3 -12 years of age receive a $139. discount when no more than 2 children share room with minimum/maximum 2 adults. Otherwise, children's price is $30. less. Under 3, require a bus seat and their own safety seat (not provided), paying $129.

DOCUMENTS: Valid US Tourist Passport for military & civilian personnel. Military without a tourist passport should check with their Personnel Office or the Foreign Clearance Guide for information on current travel regulations to France. It is the responsibility of NON US CITIZENS to meet proper VISA requirements for ALL countries.

CANCELLATION FEES (Per Person): More than 14 days prior to departure, $70.; within 14 to 7 days prior, $100; 7 days or less, 50% of tour price will be charged.
