1 Overnight Itinerary

DAY 1: Evening departure from various pick-up points.

DAY 2: Early morning arrival in Switzerland and an opportunity for breakfast (not incl). You're sure to enjoy the breathtaking ride up the mountain to Triesenberg, which offers a beautiful view of the Rhine Valley. We continue further up the mountain to the famous ski resort of Malbun where you may take the chairlift to the 2,000 meter high peak (approx. SFr 10, weather permitting). Our next stop is Vaduz, the capital of the tiny Principality of Liechtenstein. After some free time to stroll around and do a little shopping, it's on to Feldkirch, Austria, site of the 12th Century Schattenburg Castle where you may elect to have a guided tour through the museum and lunch in one of the Knight's Halls (entrance, tour & dinner, €24). In the afternoon, we will check in to our Deluxe Hotel. Your tourguide will assist with the evening's dinner and entertainment arrangements.

LAST DAY: After breakfast and check-out, we return to Switzerland, driving along Lake Constance. We visit the Island of Mainau, a garden paradise with an abundance of colorful flowers, plants and palm trees, owned by the Swedish Earl Bernadotte (entry approx. €14) {While Mainau is closed from Nov thru March, we visit and tour the Swiss Holiday resort of Lucerne, seeing the impressive carved rock Lion Monument, the restored Chapel Bridge, the Swiss Transport Museum and more - followed by an opportunity for a Boat Ride on beautiful Lake Lucerne (not incl, SFr 22.)} We then continue on to Schaffhausen to view the spectacular Rhine Falls. The courageous ones may opt for a boat ride to the base of the falls and feel the spray of the water (approx. SFr 6.50). Continuing on through the beautiful countryside of the Black Forest, we stop near Triberg. Here you may shop for the world famous Cuckoo Clocks and enjoy dinner (not incl) in Triberg's oldest restaurant (Gasthaus Lilie) and their special dessert, Black Forest Cherry Cake. We return to our points of origin late at night.

DAY 3: The entire day is yours to sleep in, explore the countryside on your own or you may join us on a full day optional excursion (€35) to the Swiss Alps. Passing Heidiland and the Rhine River Valley, we'll reach Klosters, a favorite ski and vacation spot of the Royal English Family. From here we continue to Davos, a photographer's paradise with its surrounding mountains. We'll then drive over the 8,000 foot Fluela Pass and down into the Engadine Valley stopping at the "Jet Set" playground of St. Moritz. Enjoy your favorite beverage at one of the outside cafes while soaking up some rays. When operating, you can take a cable car further up the mountain (SFr 38). Your tourguide will assist with dinner arrangements (not incl) prior to returning to the hotel.

*When available, for entry to the Casino in Bregenz, you must be 21 years of age, provide passport and be properly attired in coat and tie. Absolutely no shorts, jeans, tennis shoes, muscle shirts, etc.

CHILDREN: 3-12 years of age receive a $10 discount on 1 overnight tour or $20 discount on 2 overnight tour. Under 3, require a bus seat and their own safety seat (not provided), pay $129 on 1 Overnight Tour and $159 on 2 Overnight Tour. Children 12 & under travel free on optional tours except for entrance fees and boat rides.

DOCUMENTS: Valid US Tourist Passport for military and civilian personnel. Military without passport should check with their Personnel Office or the Foreign Clearance Guide for info on current travel regulations to to Austria & Switzerland. Non US CITIZENS must meet proper VISA requirements.

CANCELLATION FEES (Per Person): More than 14 days prior to departure, $60; within 14 to 7 days prior, $90; 7 days or less, 50% of tour price will be charged.
