ITINERARY

1 Overnight Itinerary

DAY 1: Evening/early morning departure from various pick-up points.

DAY 2: Early morning arrival in Paris and an opportunity for breakfast (not incl.). We then embark on our Grand City Tour highlighting such sights as Concorde Square, the Arc de Triomphe on the Champs Elysees, Trocadéro Square with the Palais de Chaillot, Eiffel Tower the French Military Academy, the Hotel des Invalides complex affronted with the canons from the Battle of Austerlitz, one of the world's richest army museums - the Musée de l'Armée, the presidential Palais de 'Elysee on the fashionable rue du Faubourg St-Honoré, the Opera House, Montmartre, Place Vendome, the Louvre Museum with its Pyramid, Notre Dame Cathedral and more. During some free time, you may want to visit the Perfume Shop Fragonard and have a guided tour through the museum, following a Boat Cruise on the Seine River (Included) To conclude the day your tour guide can arrange for a multi-course dinner, at a typical French restaurant (€33 drink included) before checking in to our hotel.

DAY 3: The morning is free for your own activities or you may wish to take an optional excursion (€35) to the Palace of Versailles, the residence of the Kings of France until 1789 and the Louvre Museum, the largest in the world and features the Mona Lisa, the Winged Victory and the Sphinx. Those that did not join in on this tour will meet us at the Louvre for the return trip to Germany. After a dinner stop in France (not incl), we'll arrive at points of origin late at night.

DAY 3: Explore Paris on your own or join us on an historical optional tour (€43) to four celebrated sites: the Palace of Versailles, residence of the Kings of France until 1789; the Louvre Museum, home of the Mona Lisa, the Winged Victory, the Venus de Milo and over 400,000 other art objects in an exhibition area spanning nearly 25 acres; Napoleon's Tomb, where the emperor's body is placed within six coffins; and the Musée d'Orsay, converted into a museum from a railway station and hotel and featuring examples of Impressionists (Van Gogh, Monet, Renoir, Degas & others). Join us for a multi-course dinner at a typical French restaurant (€28 drink included) followed by an Illumination Tour of the 'City of Lights'. Why not enjoy a night at the world-famous Cabaret, Moulin Rouge (€89 includes 1/2 bottle champagne).

DAY 4: Following check-out, we start on a walking tour though the adjacent medieval part of Paris with special highlight of the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral followed with a stop at the Hard Rock Café for lunch. We catch up on last minute shopping before we travel to Reims, noted for its towering Cathedral and champagne cellars. Continuing on, we take a dinner break in France (not incl) before arriving at points of origin late at night.

  • Single room supplement, $65 per person per night (If booking on a 'share' basis & none is available, please understand that you will be required to pay the single room supplement.)

CHILDREN: 3-12 years of age receive a $10 discount per hotel overnight. Under 3, require a bus seat and their own safety seat (not provided), pay $129 on 1 Overnight Tour and $159 on 2 Overnight Tour. Children 12 & under travel free on optional tours except for entrance fees and boat ride.


DOCUMENTS: Valid US Tourist Passport for military & civilian personnel. Military without a tourist passport should check with their Personnel Office or the Foreign Clearance Guide for information on current travel regulations to France. It is the responsibility of NON US CITIZENS to meet proper VISA requirements for ALL countries.


CANCELLATION FEES (Per Person): More than 14 days prior to departure, $70; 14 to 7 days prior, $100; 7 days or less, 50% of tour price will be charged.
